Superposition V is the Bay Area’s oldest & largest hackathon for female and non-binary high school and college students. We aim to create a welcoming, supportive environment for all women to explore computer science and build their confidence.

This year, we're going virtual! Join us for technical and career-building workshops, networking opportunities, and amazing prizes like Polaroid cameras, gaming equipment, portable batteries, and more.

No coding experience is required. We will hold introductory website and mobile app development workshops the weekend before the hackathon to help develop your coding skills.

ABOUT SUPERPOSITION

Superposition is an international non-profit bridging the gender gap in STEM. Our mission is to empower women in STEM by creating educational opportunities and supportive environments in which they can develop their passions. We started off as the Bay Area’s largest all-women and non-binary hackathon, partnering with VSCO and Uber. Since then, we’ve expanded beyond the 24-hour hackathon to provide year-round opportunities for our community.

Since March, we have:

  • Expanded to 77 chapters in 10 countries
  • Hosted 35 webinars with 3500+ participants
  • Piloted 2 mentorship programs in partnership with Uber
